Here's some pics from my family's Maine Vacation in August. Be kind, as I am barely an amature! Most were taken on my HP Photosmart 945 5.3 Megapixel camera w/ a 10x optical zoom. The camera has shutter and aperature settings, but I couldn't tell you which is which. I did a lot of experimenting, and here are a few I think are OK.

Here's a couple of my shots:

this was taken in a park by my house

this was a shot done where my family and I always get our christmas trees. Unfortunately the place has been sold to be turned into a subdivision

this was taken from inside my car in washington dc. It's a random poster set that was on the wall that I didn't get the meaning of. I noticed that cars passing by reflected off my window, so I did a slightly slower pooper speed and timed it with the cars passing, and I got this neat shot that looks rather shopped, but in reality hasn't gotten more than a color ballance.

I love taking pictures when I'm out adventuring. These are from my trip to New Zealand back in June.

This is out on a Marae near Tauranga.

Shot it at a speed skating World Cup in Heerenveen, The Netherlands, yesterday. It's Sven Kramer, for those who are into speed skating.

I like to watch ice skating when it's on the NOS. You really have some talented skaters; Wewewewennemars (:D), Kramer, Bos, Wüst, etc. Beautiful sport imo and another one at which the Dutch excell *slightly jealous*

These were all taken from my old band's tour this past spring:
