Found a schematic somebody posted on the Warwick forum. Part numbers seem to match up with current Warwick parts website:Actually I did but they keep sending me links to dead pages
Just picked up my corvette fna from the luthier. Got is set up properly and it plays like a dream now.
Those saddle settings look funky 
Actually I was refering to the fact that the saddles are usually in a "staircase" form (B string saddle usually towards the back of the bridge and G string saddle closer to front of bridge)It's an older instrument, it's not going to be in a pretty line forever…
Yes I got that, but if intonation is off in that situation they have to start to wander a bit. I also had a bass with a similar looking setup and tried (stupidly I admit) to get that "staircase" setting (thinking that's how it's supposed to be) but never could Anyways I'm off-topic.. your FNA looks fabulous!
I think it has to do with all the factors that come with a proper setup and the state of the neck. String height, neck curvature or even if its 100% straight. Over time those things have an impact. I know the neck on mine has a very slight curve. But with a proper setup its un-noticable. But it does move the saddles a bitYes of course, I just wonder why on some basses the intonation varies so much
Has anyone had issues with the connectors on the Masterbuilt preamps? I have a 2017 LX Masterbuilt streamer with the usb charged preamp, and the connector from the treble control knob on the preamp keeps wiggling its way free and disconnecting somehow. Is there an easy way to make this stay in place?
I'm getting closer to picking up a Warwick and I wanted to know if there's a sweet spot for builds in the German line?
For example is an 01 better than an 07 is better than a 15 is better than a 23 or visa versa.
I'm only looking at German made instruments and not rock bases.
I noticed that earlier builds only have the serial number stamped and may not say "pro series" or "teambuilt" "master built"
My search so far has landed me on the years above, for various reasons, for 5 string corvettes. Any insight would be helpful as all are online and unplayable before purchase.

my corvette proline Germany is from 2005, it has the thicker D necks. you may wanna check if that's pre-2000 and post 2009.

I have had a fantastic experience with the teambuilt Warwick basses. The craftsmanship was top notch. The ash body vettes also tend to be lighter weight than other models.

Not really. When it comes to the German output, Warwick has always built excellent instruments. You'll encounter various plaudits about the "Golden Era,"* but in my opinion Warwick is making its finest instruments today. It's a company that continues to innovate, always looking to improve on what came before, and they largely succeed at that mission.
There are variations in the neck shape from era to era so you may well prefer one year or another, but this is highly personal and hardly a matter of better/worse from a construction standpoint.
The "masterbuilt" and "teambuilt" nomenclature was introduced in 2016 which is why you aren't seeing it on headstocks before that point.
*There is no consensus on this period lol. Some seem to reserve it to the late '80s and maybe first year or two of the '90s; others extend it to 1995 when the company moved from Erlangen, Bavaria to their current facility in Markneukirchen, Saxony—a town with a centuried tradition of lutherie. I've even seen it used as early as the mid '80s. And, more bizarrely, as late as the early 2000s. I do think it's true that many Warwicks from the late '80s to early '90s have a real je ne sais quoi.
For all the Thumb players. What sort of preamp-pedals do you like to run with your bass?
I've tried the Darkglass X Ultra I have and it seems like the bass is somewhat overpowering the preamp with it's punchy low end and it kind of feels like the preamp is running out of head-room. Splitting the signal also takes away most of the thumb-twang I'd like to have in my tone.
