Ya know, when I got my bass, they included a little USB drive with the owners manual and some pictures. I wish they included some of the glamor shots like what they put on insta and on their website. The ones on the drive are pretty plain ones of the front/back on a brick wall haha

I hadn't even seen those since I'm not on instagram haha.

How often have you seen a Warwick bass with a Scroll on the upper horn? is it safe to say its a custom shop?

It reminds me a little of the body shape of Stuart Zender's bass, but the bottom horn is different. Definitely a custom job.

Well after taking it completely apart cleaning everything replaced tuners, saddles, replaced pickups with active emgs it is now a killer player like I would expect from German built Warwick. Love the streamer jazzman shape and feel! I really dig the custom upper horn they did a great job on it and the finish is nicely done albeit not original it's very nice and a real player. Oh and let's not forget had to replace the bone nut for the brass justanut. Now it fits in with my other Warwick's. I'll post pics soon

Quick question: I'm looking at a 2008 Made in Germany $$ 5-string Corvette. From what I can tell, it's comparable to today's Pro series, is that correct? Are there any notable differences between this and a 2025 Pro Series?

Actually Warwick has 3 main production lines, the CustomShop/Masterbuilt serie, the ProSeries/Teambuit serie and the Rockbass serie. The Rockbass serie is made in China. With the Proserie/Teambuilt we distiguish 2 main lines, the GPS for German Pro Serie and Pro Serie made out of Germany, most likely in Korea. The last line is the CustomShop/Masterbuit wich is the top of warwick basses, of course made in Germany.
Your's is made in Germany so it is at least the equivalent of a Teambuilt and at most a Masterbuilt (the top). These qualifications are purely marketing but good to know the build quality of the instrument. As a conclusion, your bass is well made

Yes the bridge/saddles are the same. The Bridge can be adjusted at all four points and vertically with lateral saddle adjustment as well.

Nice! I'm so used to 18-19mm spacing, so whatever extra string spacing I can get will be an extra safety net for me (since I can't test before buying).

In Warwick language, Pro serie is related to Korean made basses, GPS (Germain Pro Series) is the Germain serie, now called (since 2013) Teambuilt. For the bridges, all have the same bridge (even the Rockbass) except if you ask for a brass one in Customshop. The adjustments are the same in 3d way. The only difference I see between your's and a Masterbuilt is the nut, you have the tedur one instead of the brass just a nut 3.

I've owned a couple of double bucks like that and those are really great basses. The thing to watch for, and I'm not sure of the years that they did this, but there was a period of time where the GPS versions didn't have the Bell bronze frets they used the nickel instead, but the one you're looking at definitely has the bell bronze frets, which is desirable in my opinion.

Also keep in mind that on a Warwick, the string spacing is typically narrower 16.5 to 17 mm. You certainly have the ability to adjust a bit wider I think up to 18 mm.

I have pretty much that same bass in a 2010 4 string, it's quickly becoming my favorite bass.

I can state that the neck profile matches my 2020 Thumb BO, which matches my 2000 Corvette standard and my RB Taranis. They may not be exact matches on the profilemeter but they feel the same under hand...buttery.

Ok it's taken longer than I expected due to work but here are the results

I am replacing the preamp in my bass and am confused about the wiring. The wiring diagram from the website does not match my bass. According to the serial number, it was made in 2017. The discrepancies are the following:
1. There are two wires from each pickup, one white and one red. The two red wires are soldered together, along with the red wire from the battery and a red wire to the preamp. This bundle is in shrink tube. Where is the third wire shown in the diagram?
2. The white wire from each pickup is soldered to tabs on the balance pot and also the case of the treble pot.

I am looking for advice on how to connect to a Underhill Full English preamp. Underhill is supporting me, however, the connection to the pickups is uncertain because of the wiring diagram discrepancies

Hey guys. Been thinking about picking up a passive German Warwick Covette 4 string fretless. I've never owned one.

Love the sound of these guys. I know they're not light ( in the 10lb region), but how about the neck? I like fast Jazz- like thinness. Are the Corvettes comparable?
