Well, I just changed the strings, cranked the truss rod back, lowered the saddles, and plugged it in.
Wow. Just wow. I found I LOVED the growl of Music Man basses but not the "clangy" high end with the active pickups. Without any mods this bass has that sound. Tons of growl, definition, without the clangy highs. It took me a while to tweak the neck and other than a few frets that need a small amount if filing they seem to be pretty darn level and I like my action low.
I also really like the "bark" the bass has when finger picking and tone off, VERY Warwick (I had a Thumb).
I need to post pics, after a good polish this baby really is Mint.
