Anyone have one? Been looking for them but ill have to go to my dealer, shipping is going to be horrible. what do they go for here in the states?

No skid rails? hmmm.
That's a kick plate, not a skid rail. Different things for different purposes.
ONE skid rail....the other is replaced by the wheels...although you'd sort of think they'd have two anyway for the transfer of the bass thru the bottom to the floor. Doesn't seem like much bass transfers thru about ONE INCH of total floor contact thru two rear wheels, no?
You really don't want this happening. Bass going into the floor is not bass going into the air, and it is what gives you horrible boom on some stages.
Then I guess you better tell Orange and Matamp because that's their standard construction for 40+ years.
I have heard it argued both ways. I'm thinking that the skid rails are probably a plus when the cabs are on floors that are constructed solidly but on some temporary stage rigging it might have that boom problem....but most of those larger stages likely have the cabs in isolated/foam road case bottoms.
a couple inches isn't going to matter for floor coupling. you have to get them a good couple feet off the floor to lose it, according to the experts.
