Hiho,You can,t beat a good Foundation.
I,ve played for a long time now with very nice basses and a Foundation which I have 2 are the go to basses and have been for years now that is how good they are.
Lots of Foundation love on here and USA Peavey as well.
Enjoy your Foundation S and you need a super ferrite one now

Great stuff, BamaBird. I purchased this Dyna Bass as my first bass in 1986.
I played her at our weekly jam in January and fell in love again.
It might as well be a Foundation cause I don't care for the preamp and always play in passive mode.
The Super Ferrites have a great range of available tones. I'll never part with her.
The BL loaned me a Hondo Precision clone about six months before I bought the Peavey.
That was my first exposure to playing bass and I enjoyed it enough to buy my own instrument.
I was liking the Dyna Bass so much that night I snapped a phone pic but never got around to posting it.
The phone pic quality is not great but there she is, what a great bass!
Roll Tide!
