Agreed, they always struck me as kind of pointless on bass.Why does anyone need a volume knob?

Just got this Gary Willis. 1 volume for the single pickup, 1 stacked bass/treb +/-. Nuff said.
I have one of those. I'm thinking of replacing the switch with a volume knob.
