I use mine. I have it full up when playing fingerstyle, but roll it off 10% or so when picking.

If you're playing on a big stage,it's easier to adjust the volume on the bass.Instead of walking over to the amp.

But I understand that We all could use a volume pedal too.

I see absolutely no reason for a clumsy volume pedal when there’s a perfectly good volume knob right there on my bass.

6. I kind of wish I had one more on my basses, it would allow for:

Vol, bal and 4 band parametric EQ

Vol, bal and 2 resonant low pass filters + 2 band parametric EQ

Or other setups where you need just one more knob, I bet a 3 pickup has would really benefit.

Well, my main bass does have 2 knobs, but they do absolutely nothing, the bridge J pickup is wired directly to the output jack socket, and that's it.

Just got this Gary Willis. 1 volume for the single pickup, 1 stacked bass/treb +/-. Nuff said.

First time I've seen a black one - That's gorgeous! If they made a four string it would certainly be on my next fretless shortlist.

I think I can squeeze by with 7 (the back pointer knob is stacked/concentric)

I have one of those. I'm thinking of replacing the switch with a volume knob.
