The perfect order?

Hey TB Techies,
A quick question: what is the better place for my MXR Octave Pedal to reside, before the chorus (also MXR) or after?

If you have them both on, there's a good chance chorus-->octave would make the octaver not track as well as the other way around.

But, you should try both ways to see which sounds better to you. It will take less than 5 minutes to find out.

Typical answer is octave before everything because it will track better.

Typical answer is chorus at the end because it’s time based (unless you also have a delay, then there’s a debate to have).

Typical answer is try the typical answers and if it doesn’t sound like what you want to hear, go the other way around
