The Predictable Bassist

My go to bass testing songs are the two menuets and the gigue from Bach's first cello suite. They aren't that hard for me to play, they bring me back to my cellist days, they are beautiful, and they aren't completely played out. Also, playing them makes me look like a better bassist than I actually am.

I have a 8 month old daughter so I tend to look for a SVT/810, plug in a Jackson or BC Rich and go to town on the main riffs from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Bubble Guppies.

After that I may play Eruption, And the Stairway to Heaven and Crazy Train solos on a 6 string bass.
