Everybody and their dog has a boatload of ugly tattoos nowadays.
My dog has nothing but tasteful tattoos.

What's a generic farm anyway?
Easier than covering your dog with tattoos (you'd have to shave the fur off first).
A generic farm is where pop drives a green John Deere tractor and wears bluejean coveralls and a straw hat while mom bakes apple pies and feeds the chickens.
They raise a few pigs also. Their main product is corn and potatoes.
Mom and pop don't have tattoos. But their son and daughter are both Goth/Biker/Punk types who don't live on the farm anymore and are doing time for drug dealing. Both of them are covered in tattoos.
I thought we were just some sort of mutant bacterial infestation that sprung up on the planet because conditions are right.
Some time in the future we will all disappear and the universe will never have known we existed.
Sadly, I have to agree. I'll bet the laser removal guys are licking their chops waiting for this fad to go away.
Possibly, but it doesn't change the fact that we are contemplating the universe, of which we are a part.
