There's a front door to my office that's supposed to be unlocked but it isn't for whatever reason. So people are knocking on a locked side door near me. I've let in 9 people and not one of them has gone to the front and unlocked the door. I should be surprised but I'm not. It's amazing how inconsiderate so many people are.

Just curious:
1. Have you told anyone that they should go and unlock the door?
2. Is there a reason that you didn't go unlock it?
3. Perhaps no one has gone to unlock the door for the same reason as you?

Most of the people that I let in sit right by the door. I didn't go unlock it cuz I figured, incorrectly, that they would. That was my reasoning after I let the first person in. The other 8 were because I wanted to see how many people wouldn't do it.

So, curiosity killed the cat but only annoyed the Gorn. I no longer run experiments in which the process will annoy me.

They think, incorrectly, that if you opened the door, then you unlocked it.
Then when others keep knocking they are thinking, "What the **** is wrong with Gorn? He keeps getting up to open the door instead of unlocking it.

I've never bothered to compared it to a real map, but it has always appeared to be turned to the left once.

Look at the top left of the map. It shows how the map is oriented.

I guess that shows how bothered I was. So distracted I never noticed the key.
