Omfg!!! I went to a show and the band came on stage 2 hours and 20 minutes late. What made it worse is that the stage was at a weird angle, I couldn't see anything because I had a general admission ticket and couldn't get into the "vip" section.
Don't think that I'd have hung around that long....
Who were the band?....
Guess not for everyone. Thought it might happen.
It was a video clip of Screaming Lady and The Cat. Not really funny, just wanted to see if it would work.

No, but they can still get you for Driving Under the Influence.
I hope you know I was being facetious.
Some states (Indiana, for example) have an open container law, i.e., drinking while driving. You may be below the legal blood alcohol limit (hence, no DUI), but they can still bust you for an open container of alcohol.

I was just being a smart butt.
True story, related to my previous post:
In 1971 I was 20 years old. Young and stupid. I lived in Indiana (drinking age 21), but just 6 miles south of the border with Michigan (where the drinking age then was 18).
My best friend and I had gone into Michigan, bought a 6 pack of beer, and drove the back roads drinking it. We finished the six pack, bought another and started drinking it, then returned to Indiana. Did I mention that I was young and stupid?
I was driving down a dark country road when we decided to turn around. Mistake #1: I thought I was turning around in a side road, but it was actually somebody's front yard! Mistake #2: I did this while being followed by a Sheriff's deputy!
He pulled me over and saw the six pack. He then asked me to open my trunk, inside of which was an empty case of beer bottles. Holy ****, this looks REALLY bad! Well, he made us pour what remained of the six pack on the ground and let us go without even a written warning. These days I don't think that's gonna happen.
Our last stop was Shakey's Pizza Parlor, where my buddy worked part time. He knew the bartender, who "sold" us another six pack of beer - back door special!
Oh, did I mention that I was young and stupid?
