Larry David makes some amusing observations on the human condition. But if he is anything like the character he plays, if I met him, I would feel the need to punch him in the face eventually.
The author is welcome to all of mine.

That may be the case for a lot of sarcasm based comics. It is a different perspective on things that brings out the noodge factor. May even be the case for some of the members on the OT forums.
I have always felt that Larry David is better described as willfully obtuse than sarcastic.
Well, the two are intertwined, so I guess so.
TBH, I was not an avid Seinfeld show fan. It certainly had some moments.
When Seinfeld, the standup, first came out in the 80s, I was an immediate fan...always looking for a different angle on a situation that I could relate to and found funny most of the time. Yeah, the show, like any show will have good and not so good moments. It could also be jokes that they get that I may not. But it is like they say... a show about nothin'.
Tremendously successful nonetheless.
