that's a good one. Ig was getting up a lot of noses at the time by reiterating the title of this song in interviews,
and saying he was moving back to the US now that Ron Raygun had been elected.

I saw this album's tour at the Hollywood Palladium and it was a so-so gig, Iggy was glowering from the mic, and surrounded by handlers as if there had been a threat to bum-rush or shoot him. Ig communicated this great "come get me, these guys are holding me back" vibe that started the show on a promising note of menace. But the hoped-for apocalypse was not forthcoming.

I thought Ig much better at the Wiltern on his 60th birthday, much better paced show, one wot replete with the Asheton Bros plus the LA Blues sax player guy (RIP all save for Ig).

Saw him at about that time at the Lone Star Cafe in NY....

Intimate place, no more than a large bar....
Failed to generate his hoped for atmosphere by berating the crowd and making personal remarks to those standing at the bar....Everyone just ignored him....NY I guess.......

I saw Little Anthony of the Imperials at the same gaff earlier in the week.....

Bunch of muso's stagger in....stoned drunk, you name it....
Sheet music on stands....Tuning up....wise cracking each other....

Little Anthony walks on to the stage looking not a year over 20....In his sixties I think.....

Band kicked off in one of the tightest R&B grooves that you'll never hear....

Anthony starts to sing......

If you're planning to jump into the fire that means you intend to build a fire and for that you're going to need a permit my friend drive back down the road about two miles to the main ranger station and they'll direct you the bungalow where you can purchase a permit they are $35 for the day or $75 for the year. however we had a high fire warning today so I don't think you'll be allowed to build the fire in any case.
