This is more of a question than a thought, so here goes: a lot of the new cars feature automatic braking so you can devote more time and attention to texting, air guitar, or whatever and keep you from running over pedestrians. Can you override this feature so you can still run over some of the idiots that desperately need it?

You can pull the fuse to the ABS system. I am pretty sure the ABS pump is what powers the automatic braking function. Or, you can get fancy and reflash the computer(s).

Nobody makes grammatical errors in my dreams. In my nightmares, on the other hand, yes, I do correct them.
