The reason we need more Creativity. We need to find our why!

“There are more important things to do during this pandemic than be creative”.

This was said to me by a young person in their twenties, with a great voice and the love of singing but just gave it up because of COVID.
So how do we show others that this is the time to be creative and learn despite the circumstances. Yes I am aware people have passed away(God Bless Them) and left big holes in others lives.
I have been on the planet long enough to deal with family in palliative care and what they all have in common; is they would like to tell others to find there gifting and make it grow. Then share it with others.
They all had no regrets.
How do we make this
clear to those, who need to be whole again ?

So how do we show others that this is the time to be creative and learn despite the circumstances

I would start with introducing them to Jacob Collier's output during the pandemic. It seems to have not slowed him down one bit.

I can’t imagine a world without creativity, in fact it is the thing that keeps me sane. I’ve learned one new instrument since Covid hit and am looking at adding another. The world would be a lifeless drab place to me without a creative outlet.

So how do we show others that this is the time to be creative and learn despite the circumstances.

You set by example. If you are at the stage in your life where you can express yourself creatively, then that is what you do. You are probably going to struggle to get other people to be creative if they are in a stage in life where their priorities are elsewhere.
