    Anyone messed with this?

"The REDEEMER circuit has an innovative, new design which beats the specs of everything else in existence – even pre-amps costing hundreds of dollars more. Designed especially for guitar and bass (any instrument with a pick-up) the REDEEMER eliminates tone loss caused by the interaction between your instrument’s electronics and the loading effect of your cable and FX pedals or amplifier. The REDEEMER lets you hear the full spectrum of sound and tone of your instrument. "

These three do not add up.

I doubt that very much. It looks to be a simple buffer. Might use exotic parts or a sophisticated circuit topology, but I doubt it really meets the specs above. I'm wary of anything that claims incredible tone improvement. Personally, I prefer passive instruments... the cable loading is part of my sound. But even if I didn't like passive instruments, I certainly wouldn't shell out $130 for this thing.
