This is a thread of appreciation to refried beans ! I couldent imagine my burritos with out them

ZOMG!! I LOVE refried beans!!! i could eat em for hours.

But then... I can eat just about anything for hours. *sigh* I love food..

I used to go beast mode on refried beans all the time, until I found out that they are not all that healthy for you. I still enjoy them, just in much smaller portions.

Oh man, first thing i thought about when i saw word refried... Only reason i looked too...

can i just say that i would like to appreciate refried beans with my stomach more but the mexican food that i've encountered here in nyc is god awful. jesus, i just want some steak tacos with avocado, i don't need roasted lamb with mixed greens and roasted potatoes in there. (looks skyward, clasping hands together) jesus, can you do that for me?!!!

You just haven't gone to the right place. Though there's not too many, there is some graet Mexican food places in and around the 5 boroughs.

Refried beans are awesome. Next time you make them but a little chipotle pepper in them and wash them down with a Dos Eques or Negro Modelo beer not the pale yellow urine type Mexican beer.
