I finally got around to taking a couple pics of Goldy, my new PJ. Sorry about the size, but my employer blocks Photobucket, and I don't have a computer at home, so I'm somewhat limited...
So Goldy & the Poisson Noir are brother & sister!

Get the Blue Dragonfly, and you could be a U of M fan!:hiding:

Nice score Gary! Tuxedo case as well!:hyper:

Hey Gary.. this is a little pricey but it would look great on the Poission Noir:

So, it is now obvious that Jeanie's Pickguards has a reverend PJ template.

So, for a second guard, should I go with Pearl, Cream Pearl or Black Pearl?

For reference, the bass to be guarded is the yellow one...

white pearl would be "more old school," black pearl would be kickarse as well...

ps: re-wire one of those JJ's to XL: you'll really like it.
butch at bayou cables can make you a new harness with pots and all for direct back and forth-ing.

Chef, only the yellow one is mine remember? They are part of that collection that I posted a couple of pages back. Lucky for her, she already has a couple of XL's.

Chef: can you explain a little further on how this works? Do you install "connectors for the pup wires and then just switch the p/g w/ controls out? What do you need to provide Butch to do this? (e.g. can he provide p/g's?)

butch doesn't do p/g's, but pickguardian and jeannies do.

he can set you up with bullett connectors, and a new harness with pots, output jack and all. so, you snip the pickup leads, crimp on bullett connectors to the pickup wires, old leads to pots...then pull the old assembly whole, off the p/g. install the new one, connect the bulletts, off you go.
or, get a second p/g, and swap whole assemeblies, not just harnesses. this is what I did with my dark-star'd telecaster bass conversion.

this is what i recommended for the guy with the JJ/PJ as well.

I'm taking a small 5 minute break to announce my brand new arrival. I finaly got my hands on a Rumblefish 5L and it's totally awsome!!!!:hyper:

It definatley lives up to all the hype that has been generated on this board. Man oh man! This thing sounds so friggen huge. It has just bumped my 20th annivesary SR5 down to second place, which is no small feat. It may not be my dream white/gold/maple, but still soooooo sexy! Thanks to PsPookie for making this happen.

Ok pictures later. I'm need to go play :bassist: :D

Update on the Blue Dragonfly PJ in SoCal & Atlanta:

Hi,

Is this Fine Fish still available? I see it listed twice, so I'm assuming it's the same fish, just in 2 places.

I'm in Metro-Detroit, and collect Reverends. I have 4 at the moment, incuding a Green Dragonfly aluminum PJ, very similar to yours.

So, would you be willing to ship this to me? I would pay with Paypal, so I'm obviously Not a Scammer, and of course I would include the cost of shipping. On Talkbass I am maddanthony_59, and on ebay I am anthenium.

Assuming you are willing, what is the bottom line?

Thanks,
Tony

David
