Deal fell through on the 5L. Some punk decided not to sell it. 
I understood it might from the get go, though, so no complaints here. Great seller.

I don't usually post on TB although I do browse quite a bit and check out the classifieds but I just became the owner of this bass and can't contain my joy so I decided throw down some bass porn.
I don't know how to post images directly so I attached them... Hope this works!
Last owner had a gold pickguard on but I swapped it for this grey one. I find it looks nice with the black control knobs as well.
Anyhoo, I've had a few basses in the past year and although this baby was the least expensive instrument of the afore mentioned she feels, plays and sounds just great!
Sits well in the mix with my band and I don't know why but I sort of feel at home when I play her!
I suspect there's some special vibe going on with these basses and I'm glad to be part of the Reverend Club.
Now if only they had made PJ 5'ers...

Fine looking Rumblefish! I dig the black knobs too. Trivia: the original "grey" pickguards were called "silver mist" by Joe & Co.
Although it's not officially up for sale, for those of you who may be looking for a fish, there is a chance my Rumblefish P/J 4 string may be hitting the market in a few weeks. I have a couple of gigs over the next week or so, and after the week of the 4th...who knows? I haven't decided yet, but I just thought I'd throw that out there...just in case.
I got it from dumbdrum a few months ago...

I added a cream pearloid guard, which gives it a little different look. I don't want to mention a price until I've decided for sure I want to sell it... I haven't even taken any pics yet.

Gard's maple board orange 5L is really sweet looking. I can't believe it hasn't sold yet. Not many maple board 5Ls out there, especially in orange.

So it's a maple boarded PJ 4. Sweet! The only problem is something I like even better has just come available so it's not gonna stick around (fiscal prudence won't allow both). And it hasn't even arrived yet
I haven't been in this situation for a while

I'm trying to figure on a way to keep it. I may have to keep the case for my bugeye at a minimum but if I can keep the whole thing I'll be happier. I guess I don't really need 2 kids . . .

I'm wondering if the fact that a number of highly desireable fish (e.g. houser, p/j's, orange color) that have recently been posted and not immediately snapped up is an economic indicator? Or even the fact that they're for sale in the first place!

OK, the seller hasn't shipped yet and is amenable to undoing the deal so I can buy the other uncommon bass I've found. So this one is back on the market. If you want to find it go to bassgear.com and search for "reverend" - there was no mention of "rumblefish" in the ad.

Oh man. I really want that P/J. But, something would have to go to make room for it. I don't think I can shoot first and ask questions later on this one, because as has been pointed out, the economic indicators aren't necessarily favorable to the assumption that someone will buy a used bass from me.
As much as I think, "I don't need two J-Js", I cannot seem to stomach the idea of parting with the white/tort one. It's just too good-lookin'. And, the blue one isn't going anywhere. So, I'm stuck.
Speaking of good-lookin', Gard's orange 5er would be in my hands right now if I was a 5-string player. That thing is it.

+1. I'm playing fours almost exclusively these days, and when I play a fiver it's usually the Houser or the Metro UV70.
But that thing is HOT.
