Isn't it such a pain in the arse to adjust the intonation on it? Do you have any tools to recomend to make my life easier? It's hard and dangerous to try to cram a phillips in there.

You need a right-angle phillips head screwdriver. I found one at Home Depot. Works great on my P-Bass too, where the truss adjustment is at the butt end of the neck.
