I'm Lori, I play bass in The Safety Fire. We have released a couple of new songs from our upcoming album Mouth of Swords. Really happy with how the bass has come out on this record. Hope you guys dig!
I'm really diggin' the new album. I've never been into the first album to be honest but this one is really a step forward. Your bass sits so well in the mix, it's there, it's audible.
How did you manage to make your bass sound like this? I'm guessing it's a Sandberg TM5, maybe a TT5 (I think i've spotted you playing a white TT5)? If you could enlighten us on your bass arsenal BTW... And what about that distorded sound? Darkglass?
Nolly from Periphery also uses one and he has a killer sound. I should get me one... Sad thing is that my band's sound doesn't require that kind of pedal haha !
