The secret to playing with a lighter touch

Ummm... yeaaah.

This is me with two plates and 8 screws in my middle finger's low knuckle bone on my left hand after a slip/fall/break/surgery last month.

Just starting to play bass (with ANY kind of touch) again 5 weeks after surgery.

Injuries can have a way of influencing technique... for sure. :hmm:

Joe, having been there a few times myself I will tell you the hole in your nail will feel wonderful. Seriously, you won't feel a thing but once it stops gushing(sorry) your finger will feel sooooo much better. Almost orgasmic :hyper:

Funny way you rolled it out there - cool!

Luckily, I was able to immediately ice it. And I did it for a while. The day after it was a lot less horrible than I was expecting. Pretty sure I'm going to lost the nail at some point, but thankfully it's not hurting anymore. I guess that kinda invalidates my technique though... May not be such a great idea after all.
