I have several satin finish basses including an Ibanez SR500, SR505, Sukop 4, and I finish my own DIY projects in a satin finish as well as "satin-ize" most of the necks on my factory instruments.

They're smaathooooth.

Satin is the way to go for sure....my soon to be Ristola 6 will be all satin.

T, you should show the front of your R Bass for others ot ogle at....it's a great looking instrument.
