I saw on Reverb where Lee Sklar is cleaning out his storage locker of all the equipment he no longer uses. (some really cool pieces in there) But his rig from Billy Thorpe tour 1979 take the prize as the ultimate rig of doom. Reading the accompanying description in the ad gives some clue of how utterly crazy that must have been. Oh and shipping by freight only and you will need a fork lift to unload each pallet! Cool find! I remember seeing that tour. ''Children of the Sun" was a monster hit then and played constantly on the radio.

I just looked through that gear he's selling and spotted a Karlson 1x15 cabinet that I still have (Stanley Clarke used those back in the day as well).
I was surprised his still lasted 35+ years. It's an odd-shaped SOB.
