The LMII and the B15 has very little inherent preamp voicing with the controls set "flat" and you are operating the power sections within their linear ranges. All other variables are being held relatively constant. These two amps should sound the same or very close to it. No surprise there. By contrast, the SWR has a more strongly voiced inherent preamp tone with the controls set "flat.". In this context it should stand out. Where's the surprise? It is a great test to dispell unsupported prejudices, but for those of us with experience with the gear, it isn't any revelation.
