It took me a couple of seconds to realize that those were slippers, the eyes being the first give-away. I saw their butts before their eyes while scrolling, and initially thought that they were the parents kittehs.
Yup. The little buggers love roofs, too. I didn't have a fenced backyard when I lived in Scottsdale, so I always walked my dogs on leash, even quick ones around our neighborhood. I knew someone who had lost a small dog to a bobcat. They'd let the dog out in the backyard, unsupervised, for a potty break, and sadly lost it to a bobcat attack. Neighbors with fenced yards then started going out before letting their dog out and checking their roofs first. I also pretty regularly found pieces of rabbits that had been nighttime meals for coyotes. There's still plenty of the wild west in AZ.
Full of wonder-and impending mischief.
