I have a Valenti on my short list now that my Roscoe is gone. Just can't decide if I can live with a 1.5" nut.

hehe...I said nut.

That's for a 4-banger. I prefer 1-5/8" on a 4-string. For a 5 I can live with 1-3/4" or 1-7/8" at the nut, but really like 18mm.

Nino is replacing the aguilar pre with a sadowsky 2b with VTC. I thought with the ebony ping it would be nice to have the VTC and I think I will like the Sadowsky pre better then the aggie. I think the big singles should have plenty of mids.

I played most of the basses in that pic at the GTG. The neck on the LPB fiver was like my long lost brother. The red block J was out of this world. And the amber top has got me thinking about placing an order. Well done sir!

Yes an actual Valenti with his deminsions, radius, headstock...ect?

Would having a graphite instrument bass that you could customize from an established builder interest You?

I can tell you I would like one and so would some of the other Valenti owners I know.

Just throwing it out there.

An all graphite neck, somewhat like a Modulus or whatever?

No interest, for me. I don't see the end game in that, when a well done wood neck has always serviced my needs quite well.

I'm certainly putting words into Nino's mouth when I assume that going that direction would be a whole other thing, requiring totally different suppliers, commitments, and production issues. If graphite isn't your reputation anyway, there may not be a good business case to venture into that area.

I love 'em though.
