The Valentines Day Thread...

Well, my day has escalated to playing Wii with a female friend. I'd completely forgotten that today was V-Day when she asked me when I was going to come over. I thought about getting her a little something, but I'm not sure.

I baked lovely pink cupcakes for the office today.

Gave my honey a photo collage I made.

I have to work at my office job and then my honey and I teach the gymnastics team together tonight. After that--it's all Valentine-y fun! We'll probably write more songs together, since that's what we normally do anyway.

iirc, it's my 18th Valentine's Day with my Missus.
I still like doing things, but regrettfully do not have the cash (ran out of oil Friday, and it's COLD)
but I am playing a show tonite, doin it for the cash, so I can take her out to eat tomorrow nite, and go to see a chick flick.

Maybe I'll get her a huge peanut butter cup from a cool candy & gift shoppe on my way home....that was kinda my plan anyway...and a nice card. Wanted to do a flower thing, but no scratch....kinda bummed...I used to get her flowers all the time, I think she misses it....

Happy Valentine's Day, TB!

Guys, advise from you... I don't do this a lot but i am very puzzled...

I got a txt from a girl today "can i take you to mcd's for v-day? Then maybe a bar?"

I have no come back for that...

Help...

You say "yes". What else is there? Is it that hard?

Or you can tell her you are the Qintar, and you will decide after selecting from your bevy of admirers.

I got my wife a tea set. We're broke and very stressed this V-day, so we're taking it easy.

I'm gathering some firewood, building a fire, and making dinner. Then we'll cuddle in front of the fire and let nature takes it's course.

I've given up on eating out on V-day. The lines are too long, the service sucks, and the food isn't as good since the chefs are all doing a rush job.

What's Valentine's Day?...

I don't think I've ever been in a relationship this time of year, and I don't know anybody so there's no one to ask out to dinner or something like that.

I shall work late, then go home and clean my apartment, then relax and take tomorrow off.

And it shall be glorious.

well seeing as my girlfriend and i live 6 hours away from each other... we won't be getting together for today.

but even if we did... we both agree that it's a very superficial holiday and refuse to "celebrate" it.
