The Who Played at the Superbowl Half Time. I liked it. And i have never watched a superbowl all the way through in my life. Tonight was no exception.

Interesting bass Pino is playing. I took the opportunity to tell the whole family about Pino. One of the best ever...

At 2 places it looked like Roger was lip syncing "Won't get fooled again". But I don't think they do that. Pino is good but no Entwistle. And Pete tuck in your shirt. I don't want to see your belly.

I think the light show was a bit overdone. Zak Starkey got more camera time than anyone. Only one good shot of Pino. Pete Townsend is looking and playing rough. Vocals were marginal. Glad to see em rockin, but not like they used too. Love Pino though!

I could say plenty of negative things about this lack-luster performance.... but, at least it was REAL BAND, made up of REAL MUSICIANS, and not some crap/hype/chant/scream/rap/yell/CENSORED/pants sagging/lack of talent/sorry excuse for music type of Rap performance. Anyways, these guys are old & Pino is great (tho we barely got to see him), and obviously via the CSI shows - CBS loves The Who. Yes it could've been better, but it could've been much, much worse too...

I was kinda feeling the same way about the vocals....no offense intended to any Who fans, although, in reality, it's not really The Who, is it? It's Roger, Pete, and hired guns.

My thoughts exactly. There was an argument for them to continue to call it "The Who" after Keith died, but not after John died. To me, the real Who died with the passing of Entwistle - maybe even with the passing of Moon.

I've never been a fan of the "medley" song format, with abbreviated intros and artificial transitions...
