InEarz has triple driver customs starting at $350, quads at $475. If you call around, you should be able to get molds for under $100. The way I look at it, many of us rehearse or gig once a week. We're talking roughly $10-15 a week over the course of a year to own some great sounding customs.
And FWIW, I wouldn't risk my hearing with a DIY mold kit. There is potential to do some serious damage if something goes wrong. I'd much rather have a professional poking around in there ("that's what she said"). When you decide on a vendor, check with them for a list of local audiologists, then shop around.
