I remember a thread here on TB months ago about illegal music downloads where Jeff and I had a bit of a back and forth about the future of music where he agreed with me that under his vision, eventually recorded music would have no monetary value. And yet, I still shelled out for both of his CDs. They're that good.

Oh in the hopes that Jean Baudin returns to this thread: Something I forgot to ask on Wednesday was whether you are a Mr. Bungle fan. Because that's always the impression I get when I listen to Nuclear Rabbit stuff.

I think (I hope) I was mostly making the case that recorded music can no longer derive it's value out of a being scarce, controlled commodity - as it had in the past.

People buy music out of choice now. Rather than being forced to buy it to even hear it.

Also, I had planned on posting an announcement in this forum and/or Michael's forum about the show but I had been banned from TalkBass that week by Pacman for "trolling". What got me banned? I quoted a segment from South Park. Yep. I got banned for quoting this: , in the Lobby of all places.

My theory is that someone flagged the post which was part of a thread about the duck billed platypus (I thought the "monkey-fish-frog" part of the South Park clip was relevant to the duck billed platypus, in a humorous way). Probably one of the same people who I had previously been arguing with and even more probably the same person who called me a prick in a previous thread.

I would really like to say what I think about this debacle (Paul already knows what I think about it) but I'd probably get banned again for questioning a moderator.

My apologies to all who didn't it to the show because of this and my apologies to Michael, Jeff and Jean for the lost revenue.

I used to email people by hand a long time ago. I probably sent you messages then but didn't add you to the mailing list which I started later. I'm sure I missed a lot of people. I'll have to go back through my old emails and find others.
