There's the line and there's me stepping over it...

To me, it's a very interesting affliction (in myself and others).
I don't keep what I don't use, though WANT and NEED seem trickier to sort out...

At this point I feel I've tried many of the most popular pedals discussed on TB, several of them 'keepers', most of them moved on.

This helps me realize that even the most 'hyped' pedals may very well not work for my set-up.
I work on this realization continually.
The 'bedroom tone vs. what you can actually use in a loud mix' is another great lesson for me.

Yeah... hardly... Then you start down the 'modeling every effect pedal you ever feel in love with' hole...

Nice try though! ;)

Just figured I'd throw it out there. The AxeFxII is an effect junkie's wet dream IMO. I don't care how anybody goes about their business, honestly. But if you really dig complex effects, complex routing, and the ability to control the stuff the way you like in a performance situation, the AxeFxII is in a league all by itself.

JMHO. YMMV. ;)

ha ha. I would probably put it on a board surrounded by stomp boxes for no reason at all...

Addiction knows no bounds

Then you, sir, are at an entirely different level of obsessed. Please proceed...

I will admit thought that changing routing as presets would be pretty rad! I thought about incorporating a preset router... but who knows maybe I'll start a Fractal fund... a change jar... a very large change jar... I think you just made it all worse.

I think you just walked into an AA meeting with a bottle of 25yr single malt...

Yeah, pretty much! :p

Well since we're talking about it, this is what I'm drooling over..

Switchblade 8F Floor System

All the routing functionality of an AxeFx, without relying on digital modeling to 'simulate' analog effects.
Digital switching, analog sound path.
Does that thing actually have the ability to change orders and mix? Could this be like 10000000 times better than the Wounded Paw Blenders?????????
