Hard to say, sometimes family member's are really messed up. We had to get a PPO(personal protection order) keeping my oldest brother away from my mom(r.i.p.) when she was in assisted living. He's a real dirt-bag, never worked a day in his life - we had good reason to believe he was trying to speed her demise, messing with her sugar intake and such. Unfortunate use of human flesh. Damn, wish I wouldn't even had thought of that.

Yeah,poor Casey, I always liked his voice and stuff. Little cornball but always there for you. Kind of like Frosted Flakes or CHeerios.

You have a point. I saw the inside of a messed up family when my SO's Dad passed. Sorry about your Mom.

In this case, apparently when enough time had passed, so the daughter could officially file a missing persons report, they found him pretty quick.

Down here, you don't have to be a cop or have missing persons paperwork filed to just call up the jails and hospitals and see if someone's in there, they'll tell you if they have them. When someone doesn't come home after a night of partying those are the first places you check. I've had to do that myself before, and on occasion found who I was looking for....more often at the jail than the hospital though.

Could've been worse... could've went all Chuck Berry. The thought of Casey Kasem on a rampage also amuses me. I know I only have his on air personality to base it off of but he always seemed liked he was always pleasant and would probably be a really nice guy in person.

Same could be said for Dick Clark, though I've heard some say he could be a real ass. Although, they could've been just PO'd because they didn't get a spot on the bandstand or something.
