Things that bug you

- When you spend 10 minutes standing in line at the fast food place or Starbucks and the guy/gal in front of you finally gets up to the counter and STILL doesn't know what he/she wants. I mean c'mon... it's not like you didn't have enough time to decide, and there aren't that many options anyway.

- When you get to the fast food place at 11:05 am and you want breakfast and they won't give you any cause "we're on our lunch menu after 11"... and there's a WHOLE DAMN TRAY of Egg McMuffins just sitting there. They got this one dead-on right in "Falling Down".

- People who text when they're driving. If they ever made a "Falling Down II" I think Michael Douglas' character should come up with some sort of fitting revenge for people who do this.

- When you buy a candy bar and realize the actual candy bar is only 2/3 as big as the wrapper (this is why I don't buy candy bars anymore).

- Hot chicks that dress like ho's and then give you a dirty look for looking at them.

I picked three of the worse ones I could think of:

1) When we go grocery shopping, drop hundreds of dollars (wife, kids, dogs, etc.), and something cheap and terrible like hot dogs or frozen chicken strips hit the table at dinner time. I just spent half my week earning that money! Make me a f$#&in pork chop or something!

Welcome to the wonderful world of inflation. Work more, get less. Spend more, get less.

people that are late.

i'm currently waiting for my guitar player to get here so we can go to rehearsal. rehearsal STARTS at 6pm. it's 6 and he's not here yet.

Then let me guess, he'll show up about 6:25, and then he'll want to polish his guitar, and then answer a couple of texts, and then oh yeah I need to put on a new set of strings, and then I have to tune.... :rollno: This is when fines seem like a really good idea.

But God forbid you start packing up at the agreed upon END time. Then you're the one who's not the "team player."

Yep. Been there too often. Feel yer pain.

Sports fans who refer to their favorite team as "we" and "us" as if they are a part of them team.

Ex. "We Kicked [insert team name here]'s ass last night. If we beat the [insert team name here] on Wednesday then we're going to the finals!" [insert high five and or chest bump here]

But hold on, I am part of my favorite team. I'm fairly certain they can hear my cheering for them from my couch. :D

Here are a couple recent irritations....

People who go to the drive through and order food for the office. GO INSIDE when you have to order for a bunch of people!

People who drag their feet when they walk. PICK UP YOUR FEET!

You try putting up and getting down our Christmas lights. It's a real pain in the ass, and pretty dangerous besides. Eventually we plan to rig up a pulley system, but for now, they stay up all year. We don't turn them on except in December, though, as that would be tacky.

We used to permanently install the lights underneath the open eaves of the roof. The lights stayed hidden from view and weather 11 months of the year. When the lights were on, the colors created a soft and pleasing reflection on the white-painted house.

HA! Touche` salesman!
I suppose it might not irritate me as much if I were a sports fan. But I'm just not. I really had a sincere love and loyalty to the Sonics but other than that, I just never got into sports. But when the sonics left, part of me died.
Sport is dead to me...:atoz:

I can tell that you really seem to like the movie Falling Down and all, but I hate to tell you, Michael Douglas's character dies at the end.

At the moment? My extremely clingy girlfriend. :rollno:

You try these? :D

At the moment, I am most bugged buy:

1) My roommate that thinks that my room is his playground. He'll enter as be pleases and play my XBOX360, take out the fold up cots that I have for guests and use them without even asking, and rearrange my stuff. I can't believe that someone would be so disrespectful.

2) College. Classes are a drag.

3) Right now I am overwhelmed with GAS for a particular car. It's painful because it will be several months before I can afford to add a car payment to my list of expenses. It's also tricky to find exactly what I want; there is one car that is exactly what I want but who knows how long that will be available. :hmm:

4) My current car. The driver seat is stuck in a reclined position so I have to drive sitting up. My neck and back get stiff after the voyage between Iowa City and Decorah. The battery or alternator is also acting up. It has been running fine but there have been a few instances where it didn't want to start up right away.

I'm pretty lucky. That covers just about all of my gripes for the moment.
