Hershey bought Peter Paul in 1988 and still makes Mounds, Almond Joy, and York Peppermint Patties, which were all Peter Paul candies, as a separate division of Hershey Foods.

Man, I had a train version of that little music box/record player, and i swear it's why I'm a musician today. Mom says that I sat for hours trying to pick out the tunes from those discs on the piano when i was just 2 years old. Small world!

The real question is 'why did they start?' How did someone come to the conclusion that sheep intestines would make a great prophylactic?

I know, don't tell me. Prolly one of the few patents given out to a shepherd.

Heh. They probably were an early form of birth control before plastics.
Actually for people with allergies to the synthetic prophylactics.
They felt kind of gross, wet and cool, and looked hideous - "mood" killer. I would always think "Don't look down, don't look down!"

Naturally , the next step is/was cloning them, which proves the
doctor patient relations.....getting too attached to a sheep.
