AKA thingamabobs.
Yes!!
I worked at a big Mexican restaurant down the street from a Shakey's in the mid 70s. The street was the teen hangout place and street race meet place in North OKC. We closed a couple hours earlier than Shakey's. A bunch of us would go there. The managers let us park behind the building and drink beer with our pizzas.

We had a Shakey's Pizza in my hometown of Stillwater, OK when I was growing up. LOVED that place. They had windows around the kitchen so you could watch the cooks making the pizza, tossing the dough. They played old black and white comedies like Laurel & Hardy and the Marx Brothers on big screens. There was a player piano that was brightly decorated with red, white, and blue paint and gold sparkles with a clear front so you could watch the mechanisms move. You would select the piano roll for the song you wanted to hear, load it up, then put in a quarter to start it up. Their shrimp pizza was AMAZING.
