I saw wiring looms like that just last week. An elevator technician was rewiring on of the units in my office building. Of course, the elevators date from 1938, so it's only natural it has that style of wiring...
It was beautiful work though - I had to compliment him on it.
That's a very brave man right there. Swans are not stupid. What they are is nasty. We steer as far away as possible from them when encountering them kayaking.

Pending means that they filed for a new patent. It is pending since it still in the approval process.
Back in the late 60s, I was the first in my classroom to have Fizzies. I remember dropping them in the tiny thermos that came with my Green Hornet lunch box. For those short couple of days, I was the cool kid. <sigh>
