So, do you ....
hammer in the morning?
hammer in the evening?
hammer out danger?
hammer out a warning?
hammer out love between your brothers and your sisters?
or is it just hammer time for you always?

I haven't watched that blaxploitation movie yet...and I've seen a lot of them.
You probably see the results of one of them more than you might think. Cameras mounted on top of them notwithstanding, the basic mechanics of the Steadicam are based purely on Newtonian physics. Barring the addition of certain accessories, there is no "on" or "off" (nor need for batteries to balance it) because gravity never shuts down.I wonder...besides things like bicycles, manual can openers, and wind-up clocks and watches, how many purely mechanical things are still in use today?

Me neither. He was in few. I always loved his movie posters. He had a pretty good post football career, though.I haven't watched that blaxploitation movie yet...and I've seen a lot of them.
I think that's great!
I love the idea of having something around that's purely mechanical - not electric or electronic; no bits, bytes or microchips.

I change out standard locksets to electronic for clients from time to time. I just don’t get it. You still need to carry or hide a a key for when the battery dies locking you out. It makes sense if you have an air b&b, but otherwise no.These egg beaters are still sold and used.
