Since it's college football bowl season, I thought I'd mention you don't see the Bluebonnet Bowl (called the Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl when played in the Astrodome) anymore:

Had to look those up...apparently, those are stadiums, not bowl games.

Yeah...it really got bad when sponsors' names became the actual names of bowl games.

Had to look those up...apparently, those are stadiums, not bowl games.

Not sure about the Rubber Bowl, but the team I root for played in the Glass Bowl when the late, great Sid Gilman coached the Bearcats.

Our football rival in high school was the Trojans. It was kind of funny every year to see our wholesome faculty turn a blind eye to the signs our cheerleaders would make with the legend "BUST A TROJAN" or "POP A TROJAN".
