Had one similar to that. If I remember correctly it used these little tablets that would create bubbles which caused it to rise and sink. Been a long time ago but I don't remember it working all that well.
Me too. Mine disappeared when I tried it in Lake Berryessa. Maybe not a good idea in lake water! :roflmao:

They would work pretty well if the tablets were kept dry until used. Any moisture and they'd lose their 'fizz'.
I had the cereal box sub that used baking soda. Did pretty well in the bathtub. Never thought of taking it to "Lake" Atlantic(lived in Miami at the time).
 

I'm pretty certain I had that. IIRC there were little red torpedo like things that got spring loaded into the tailpipes behind the seats, and a dial that did something I can remember at the front. Maybe even had first that spun out of the turbo in back?

Any chance you can find a bigger picture of that? I wouldn't even know what to search for, or I would :) .
