Seeing a commercial for them, prompted me to ruin a bunch of toys, in an effort to duplicate smashed cars. Maybe everybody did. A lot of value destroyed.

We did too! When you look at older toys a lot were some form of destruction like smashing or blowing up cars or playing with guns or Army.
Dang by the time we were done playing most of our aggressions were out and we were tired! Play on a cell phone all day...well you know what I mean.
