That reminds me, I was supposed to schedule one last year. I could have sworn the dr. told me every ten years, but then I got a notice saying it's been five years since the last one, and I'm due for another. Bummer. (<-- pun intended.)

Those are dual, built-in egg timers. Folks in the 80's were afraid of kids spending too much time on TV.

I tried to electrocute myself on a similar TV when I was a kid (About 13). The power switch died and whilst waiting for the new one to arrive I had to touch two wires together to get the TV to work, Of course I missed a stray piece of bare copper that made contact with my fingers!
