Those old glass thermoses (thermi?) would shatter on the very first dropping. Now you had a fantastic lunch box and the matching thermos was gone. Boo hoo.

I’ve still got some of those tubs with radial tops (upper tight). Those things do not die!
Looks like a playtime electric chair.
That reminded me of the 'collapsibles' Disney had. You'd push on the bottom and the puppet would collapse, then you'd release the bottom and it would spring back up. Minutes of fun!
