I can only speak for myself when I say that it gladdens this old man's heart to learn of so many youngsters taking up the bass with the same eagerness I did when I was a kid.

And I will speculate that many of the older cats here, the pros, and the parents, likely feel the same way.

Self-styled 'know-it-all's' who respond to another's sincere quest for knowledge by making cheap shots aimed at starting a game of 'wind-'em-up-and-watch-'em-go', are to be dismissed for what they are--small people...

I use a Hatke vx2510
its loud, but at most its only usually on 1 or 2 on the volume
and this thing is huge too
but its just in a corner, which would have nothing in it anyway

it also is a good spot for my laptop to sit on top of
