This is a stretch...Winnipeg bass GTG?

Hey there,
anyone who lives near Winnipeg MB Canada. I would love to try a bass get together but have never attended one, so I don`t know what they`re all about. (other than a bunch of bassists sittin` around thumping away and talking shop )
However, if someone is interested, we could try and sort it out.
