The GAS has worn off, and I found myself buying this out of obligation since it is a special order and not a regular stock item. I played it today, and thought it was another nice Jazz Bass, but I was not blown away. To my surprise, when listened to the video, and really liked what I heard! This bass is going to get some play time when I take it home this Spring!

The American Geddy, in deference to Geddy, we could call it the North American Geddy, but Mexico is in North America too!

For my money, the most desirable and best sounding of all fretted fender jazz basses. The 70's jazzes in general have a growl one can't quite achieve with a 60's jazz. A slightly darker low mid growl with both pickups on full {which I like}
