The GAS has worn off, and I found myself buying this out of obligation since it is a special order and not a regular stock item. I played it today, and thought it was another nice Jazz Bass, but I was not blown away. To my surprise, when listened to the video, and really liked what I heard! This bass is going to get some play time when I take it home this Spring!:bassist:

Is this the same store where you bought your DJ5? I recall you saying that you felt obligated to purchase it because you went in and played it so much .

That turned out to be a favorite of yours. Maybe this will too.

This is a different store, but I am a regular customer. I cannot back out of a special order, that would make me an a-hole, and my one goal in life is don’t be an a-hole.:D

When you have a chance, check out the YouTube video "LEE RITENOUR-NIGHT RYTHMS" Melvin Davis picked the same bass with pickup and preamp upgrades, and it is spanking!
