This used Laney Nexus fet - suspicious or not?

Hello my dear fellow thick string pluckers, I need your insight,

A posting for a used Laney Nexus Fet has caught my eye, but I believe the price is suspicious, the owner is selling it for 249 EUR, but a new one costs over 1000!
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Here is the posting, (untranslated):
Laney - Rožňava - Bazoš.sk

And here is a new one for sale at my local largest music gear store:
Laney Nexus Fet - Muziker SK

So my question is, is this even legit? I could not find any other used specimens, not in europe at least, one was for 978 USD B-stock in USA but otherwise I have seen none. Is it even possible for it to be sold this cheap or is it a scam, the head has some horrible issue or something?

Edit: The guy replied it is still for sale so I will try calling him after work and getting as much info as possible

Thanks ahead for all the replies.

So it begs to ask did you buy it? :)
In the end no, I bought a used Warwick Tubepath 10.1 for 500 € because I freaking fell in love with it's incredibly dirty sound.

But it was more than just slightly over budget so now I am eating dry bread till the end of the month. Oh well at least I will finally lose some weight. Next month is also hobo diet month since I will be buying a (at least 600w 8ohm) cab to go with it, but what will you not do for your art, tell me?

Laney don't hold their value well up to up to about the 30 year mark, then they go crazy, see AOR price going up like a lift over last few years, while the equally serviceable GH series are still token money, and the preceding Klipps and supergroups are big money. Demand for a big heavy hybrid amp is pretty low. At some point people realise how good they are for the money, buy them, then the people who hear them using them realise too late and drive up the price.
