I have a set of TI JF344 coming to me for another bass but I may divert to my Fender JMJ Mustang short scale (30") bass.
The stings on the bass now are the stock Fender flatwound 9050L. Those Fender flats are long scale. The JMJ is string through. The gauge is thin enough so if it's not a perfect fit the flat wraps should wrap the post ok enough?
Has anyone used this set for this purpose? My archive search lends me to believe it will work.
