Thank you for your reply. I used to go directly into PA and used IEM when we had our own church building. Now, we don’t have enough number of channels. FOH told us that we have only 4 channels. One is taken by the drummer. One by the leader, one by the keyboard player, one by singers. Only tje drummer use a headphone and the rest are wedges. Guitar player and I do not have our own monitors though guitar amp is miced and goes into PA. Since I do not have my own channel, going into PA and removing amp would make it even more difficult for me to hear myself because no one would want to have loud bass as I do.
By the way, today was ok and I increased mid and treble quite a bit in the amp. I could not cut bass because the amp had a problem. Also, I increased the volume. Others complained thst it is too loud but I insisted that it would be ok in the mix. And in the mix, the balance was ok and i could hear myself. So, for now, this would be it until we have a proper system or current amo breaks down.
